Mother of the Bride Outfits
Thursday, May 14th, 2009Attention has now turned to Mum’s outfit and there are a few options. It seems that most shops selling bridal wear treat the mother of the bride as a separate entity, which is odd? Anyway, I’ve found that this is something of an advantage because many occasion wear departments have outfits which are ideal without the usual ‘wedding premium’.
The Sophie Gray Collection at BHS is a good example, with a selection of occasion outfits including summer dresses and separates. The dresses here are priced at around £40, with a good range of sizes from 10 to 22. There are shoes, head gear and accessories to match also.
My mum’s fairly trendy and I like these prom dresses, particularly the black ones; although mum likes the floral print at the moment (I’m sure I can persuade her to my way of thinking over time?).
